Swap Bitcoin (BTC) Without KYC

Start a BTC swap →

Bitcoin (BTC) is the first cryptocurrency, launched in 2009 with a hard cap of 21 million coins. It runs on proof-of-work: miners add a block roughly every 10 minutes, and each block makes earlier transactions harder to reverse. Most people hold BTC as long-term savings or use it to move value across borders without a bank.

Bitcoin has one main chain, but several address formats. Native SegWit addresses start with bc1q, Taproot addresses with bc1p, and older ones with 3 or 1. Any modern wallet can send to all of them, so a swap payout works with whichever your wallet shows. Lightning Network invoices are a different system and cannot receive an on-chain swap payout.

The main thing to plan around is fees. Bitcoin fees depend on transaction size and how busy the mempool is, not on the amount you send. When blocks are full, a low-fee deposit can wait for hours before the first confirmation, and a swap only starts once the deposit is confirmed. Check the current fee level in your wallet before sending, and avoid very small swaps when fees are high.
