Swap Avalanche (AVAX) Without KYC

Avalanche (AVAX) is the native token of the Avalanche network. Its primary network has three chains: the X-Chain for transfers, the P-Chain for staking and validators, and the C-Chain, an EVM-compatible chain where most wallets, tokens and apps live. AVAX has a maximum supply of 720 million.

This matters for swaps. The C-Chain uses 0x addresses, like Ethereum, while X-Chain addresses start with X-avax1. On this site, AVAX routes use the C-Chain, so send AVAX from a C-Chain address and paste a C-Chain address when you receive it. If your AVAX sits on the X-Chain or P-Chain, move it to the C-Chain inside your wallet first.

Because the C-Chain shares the Ethereum address format, it is easy to paste the right address on the wrong network. An exchange deposit address for Ethereum is not automatically valid for Avalanche. Transactions on the C-Chain confirm within a few seconds, and fees are paid in AVAX, so keep some in the wallet for later transfers.
